Isloo.pk ("Isloo", "we", "us") is an online classified marketplace operating in Pakistan. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data. By using our website and services, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and any optional profile details you choose to provide (such as a profile photo, display name, or city). This information allows us to identify you on the platform and facilitate communication between buyers and sellers.
Listings and Uploaded Content
When you post a listing, we store the title, description, price, category, location, and any images you upload. You are responsible for ensuring that the content you post does not violate the rights of others or applicable Pakistani law. Listings may be visible to all users and to search engines.
Payment Information
For premium subscriptions, featured listings, and wallet top-ups, payments are processed through our payment gateway partner, PayFast. Isloo does not store your full card numbers or banking credentials. Transaction metadata (amount, date, status) is retained for record keeping and dispute resolution.
Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our site. Analytics tools help us improve page performance and user experience. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not function correctly without them.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and verify your identity.
- To display your listings and facilitate buyer–seller communication.
- To process payments and maintain your wallet balance.
- To send service notifications, security alerts, and important policy updates.
- To detect fraud, abuse, and prohibited activity on the platform.
- To comply with legal obligations under Pakistani law.
3. Data Protection
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews. Despite these measures, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We limit access to personal data to authorized personnel who need it to operate the service.
4. Third-Party Services
We work with trusted third parties including Supabase (database hosting), PayFast (payment processing), and email delivery providers. Each of these providers has its own privacy policy. We share only the minimum data necessary for them to deliver their services.
5. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction — update inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Opt-out — unsubscribe from non-essential marketing communications.

6. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings or by contacting support. Upon deletion, your active listings are removed, your wallet balance becomes inaccessible, and your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (such as financial transaction records).
